Genes & Genomics is the official journal of the Korean Genetics Society (http://kgenetics.or.kr/) since 1978. Although it is an official publication of the Genetics Society of Korea, membership of the Society is not required for contributors. It is a peer-reviewed online only international journal (E-ISSN 2092-9293) publishing 12 issues per year. It covers all disciplines of genetics and genomics, from prokaryotes to eukaryotes, and from fundamental heredity to molecular aspects. The journal publishes reviews, research articles, and short communications. The journal does not exclude the topics of plant biology, development biology, immunology, cancer, and disease biology if the experimental setup and/or the subsequent analyses are relevant to an audience with a clear interest in genetics and genomics.
