Invertebrate Reproduction & Development ( IRD)presents original research on all aspects of the reproductive and developmental biology of invertebrate animal taxa (all multicellular animal taxa except those in the Vertebrata subphylum). Encouraged topic areas include: reproductive physiology, biochemistry, morphology, and behaviour, and the regulatory mechanisms underlying reproduction and development (genetic, endocrine and molecular). Papers reporting significant results obtained using new techniques, and applied studies related to captive breeding and aquaculture will also be considered.
