The Journal of Forensic Psychology: Research and Practice is devoted to providing a forum for disseminating timely and practical developments to the forensic psychology practitioner and professional. The Journal of Forensic Psychology: Research and Practice promotes original research which examines the impact and effect of new knowledge in the field as it relates to the work of the practicing forensic psychologist and related specialists, mindful of where and how justice and social change are meaningfully advanced. The Journal of Forensic Psychology: Research and Practice presents new programs and techniques, analyzes existing policies and practice-oriented research and quantitative/qualitative analyses, and single case designs from a broad range of disciplines including forensic psychology, clinical psychology, law, sociology, criminology, clinical social work, and counseling psychology. Case studies and articles dealing with treatment and assessment in police, court, and/or correctional settings are welcome. Research submissions exploring individual, family, adult, and juvenile populations are encouraged.
