Meteorological Applications welcomes papers on all applications of meteorology, hydrometeorology and climatology including topics of observation, prediction, data assimilation and verification. Our readers are interested in a variety of sectors including agriculture, aviation, civil protection, climate change, public health, renewable energy, water resource management, risk assessment of weather and climate hazards and other areas related to weather and climate, as well as communication of these topics to the public. Meteorological Applications is a fully Open Access journal and publishes both research and review articles using a double-blind review process.Authors of accepted papers pay an Article Publication Charge and their papers are published under a Creative Commons license. With Creative Commons licenses, the author retains copyright and the public is allowed to reuse the content. The author grants Wiley a license to publish the article and identify as the original publisher.
