Acta Crystallographica Section F, Structural Biology Communications welcomes the submission of short articles covering all aspects of structural biology: reports of new structures; mutants of existing structures and the biochemistry to probe their activity or lack thereof; methods communications covering novel approaches as well as pipelines and graphical user interfaces communicating with existing software; first reports from early career researchers in receipt of structural biology training; crystallization reports and the techniques that underpin them; short commentaries on issues of interest to the community; and reports from structural biology meetings. Submissions to Structural Biology Communications should aim to have a maximum of 3000 words in order to maintain the journal's fast review times and make article preparation easy.
